Wizards of the Coast unveiled details about upcoming sets, including a brand new horror-themed set, the world premiere of a core set, and an update on the upcoming adorable animal-themed set.
Duskmourn: House of Horror takes players to a terrifying new plane inspired by modern horror. This chilling set features an "infinite haunted house" filled with nightmares and otherworldly entities. Commander players will be especially excited about the return of the fan-favorite Archenemy multiplayer mode, where three players team up to take down one powerful foe. Duskmourn: House of Horror is available for pre-order now and launches on September 27th, 2024.
For players looking to build their Standard decks or explore other formats, Magic: The Gathering Foundations was announced as a core set featuring iconic characters and spells throughout Magic's history. Designed to be welcoming for new players while still engaging for veterans, Foundations is legal in Standard for years to come and will be released on November 15th, 2024.
Bloomburrow, the upcoming set featuring a cast of adorable animal adventurers, also received an update. This whimsical world focuses on a group of animal friends who must work together to restore balance to their valley. Bloomburrow is set to release on August 2nd, 2024 and is available for pre-order now.
