NBA 2K25 Review: A Slam Dunk of Fun

NBA 2K25 Art

Ever since the Cairns Taipans visited my school when I was a kid, I've dreamed of making it big in basketball. While that dream may have faded, NBA 2K25 has given me a chance to live it vicariously. From the moment I stepped onto the court, I knew this was a game-changer.

NBA 2K25 has completely exceeded my expectation from the game's life like visuals, revamped gameplay and controls, and endless customization options, simply make it a must-play for any basketball fan.

The gameplay is incredibly smooth and responsive, capturing the essence of the sport perfectly. The new dribbling mechanics feel incredibly natural, and the shot timing is challenging yet rewarding. The AI is also a significant improvement, providing a tough challenge and a range of difficulty settings.

One of the standout features of NBA 2K25 is the MyCAREER mode. The story is engaging and the character progression is well-paced. The ability to create your own player and build your own legacy is incredibly satisfying and The MyTEAM mode is also a lot of fun for fans of the official NBA teams, allowing you to collect your favorite players and build your dream team.

The City is a great addition to the game, providing a vibrant and immersive online experience. The ability to explore the city, play streetball games, and hang out with other players adds a whole new level of fun to the game and continues to expand on the multiplayer nature of the game.

Overall, NBA 2K25 is the first NBA title where I feel like I'm actually in control and it's a fantastic basketball game that offers something for everyone. Whether you're a casual fan or a hardcore baller, you're sure to have a blast and we have to give this a 9 out of 10.
