PlayStation celebrates 40 million PS5 consoles sold worldwide

PlayStation Australia has announced that it has sold 40 million PS5 consoles to gamers around the world since its launch in November 2020, making it the fastest-selling console in PlayStation history.


The PS5 has been praised for its impressive catalogue of games, which includes more than 2,500 titles, from indie gems to AAA hits. Some recent releases that have wowed fans are Final Fantasy XVI, Diablo IV, and Street Fighter 6, which showcase the power and potential of the PS5 hardware.


To mark this milestone, PlayStation has revealed the 40 games that players have voted as the best PS5 games so far.
