A new development studio, Ruckus Games, is shaking things up with their debut co-op multiplayer game. Founded by industry veterans from AAA studios like Gearbox, Bethesda, and Epic Games, Ruckus Games boasts a team with a whole lot of experience putting out high quality games.
Their first project is currently a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is getting us pretty excited. Imagine a suburban invasion scenario with a dash of RPG, crafting, and town-building thrown in to mix things up. Up to four players will come together in an evolving world, facing off against strange threats with an arsenal of "make-shift weapons" – think toaster-launched saw blades and flamethrower power washers, lol!
The game promises a unique visual style, with a balance between humour and darkness. Players will take on the role of everyday people transformed into unlikely heroes, rescuing NPCs and building up their "Hometown" hub between missions. This hub serves as a central location for customisation, building, and upgrading, ensuring your next suburban showdown is even more explosive than the last.
